D'apres ce que j'avais lu il y a un certain temps, le stuff WotLK de depart devrait etre moins disproportionne que celui de BC.
En clair, le stuff uber BC (genre T6) ne sera pas depasse avant un temps certain sur WotLK.

Also "resetting" the gear helps even out the playing field which can especially be helpful for new characters (Ex. Deathknights) or people who want to get into raiding.
